Jeanette Morris

Statesboro-  Jeanette Waters Morris, age 79, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 while under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.  Mrs. Morris was born in Claxton, GA to the late Reginald W. Waters and Mildred Rustin Waters.  She was of the Baptist Faith. Jeanette faithfully made the biscuits at McDonald’s in both St. Simons and Jesup and enjoyed crabbing.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arnold Morris; two daughters, Sherry Morris Breese and Deborah Morris Bradford; two sisters, Judy DeLoach and Joann Cannon; one brother, Jerry Waters and one grandson, Dillon Breese.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Donna and Glenn Settles of Statesboro and Diane Peterman of Statesboro; one sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Larry Wiggins of Ellabell; two brothers, Stevie Waters of Glennville and Wayne Waters of Claxton; four grandchildren, Charles Allan Settles, Justin Miller, Charles Miller and Desi Breese and four great grandchildren, Emily Addison Settles and Ella Ayden Settles, Chase Miller, and Kayleigh Breese.

Visitation will be held 10-11 A.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Northside Cemetery.
