Jeanette Hollingsworth

Mrs. Jeanette Kirkland Hollingsworth, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hollingsworth was born in Collins on September 3, 1943 to the late Wright and Lucille Dowd Kirkland. She was a loving and caring house wife to four children and a member of Liberty Christian Fellowship.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Shorty” Palmer Hollingsworth; daughter, Selina Cribbs; brother, J.E. Kirkland and grandson, Little Al “Bubba” McNear.

Survivors include two sons, Dwayne Hollingsworth and his wife Sandra and Michael Shane Hollingsworth all of Guyton; daughter, Debra H. McNear and her husband Allen of Guyton; brother, Ricky Kirkland of Reidsville; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be private.
