Guyton- Mrs. Janet Johns Goetzman, age 66, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at Hospice Savannah. Mrs. Goetzman was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Mack and Ernestine Maulden Johns. Mrs. Janet was a special education parapro for over 20 years. She worked in both Georgia and Tennessee including both Cheatham County High School and Bloomindale Elementary School. In addition to her work, Mrs. Goetzman enjoyed gardening and thrifting. Mrs. Goetzman was preceded in death by one brother, Leon Johns.

 Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Richard Goetzman of Guyton; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Goetzman, Jr. of Lenox, GA, Berry and Kristy Hardwick of Ellabell, Timothy Goetzman of Chapmansboro, TN and Bryan and Heather Hardwick of Pleasant View, TN; one daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Jason Hovey of Springfield; brothers, Danny Johns of Guyton, Stacey Johns of Rincon and James Johns of Guyton; one sister, Lisa Bragg of Guyton and grandchildren, Zachary Goetzman, Hailey Hardwick, Makayla Harwick, Alyssa Hardwick, Alexander Pardue, Brock Means, Alexis Hovey and Emily Hovey

 A memorial service will be held 10 A.M. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating.
