Jan Dees

Mrs. Jan Natalie Dees, 59, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020. Mrs. Dees was born in Savannah on April 13, 1960 to the late William Henry and Margie Pearl Cowart Dees. She was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church and was employed with Proctor and Gamble. Mrs. Dees loved children and enjoyed biking, reading and drawing.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, William Henry “Billy” Dees, Jr. and two sisters, Patricia Weaver and Robin Champion.

Survivors include one son, William lee Gibbs of Effingham; five sisters, Alice Hood (Gary) of Sweeny, TX, Dana Brown of Claxton, Melba Sikes of Pembroke, Mitzi Cross (Ronnie) of Pooler and Marilyn Spikes of Pembroke and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00p.m.
