James Howard

James Irvin Howard, age 77, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Ogeechee Area Hospice.  Mr. Howard was born in Oliver, Georgia on August 3, 1940 to the late Edell Emanuel and Stephen Stanford Howard.  He was a truck driver for Bomark Trucking Company and was of the Baptist Faith.  Mr. Howard enjoyed fishing and loved being outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Minnie L. Howard of Pembroke; stepdaughters, Elizabeth M. Blitch of Pembroke and Janice Lorie Blitch of Hampton, SC; one brother, Steven Howard of Pembroke; one sister, Melva Jean Murton of Ellabell and one grandson, Tanner Hughes of Guyton.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 3 P.M. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Northside Cemetery.
