Savannah- Henry Sebron Wilson, age 71 passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mr. Wilson was born in Metter, Georgia to the late Johnnie Sebron Wilson and Bertha Mae Chester Wilson. He was a heavy equipment operator for Porter Huggins Inc. for many years before becoming owner and operator of Coastal Crane and Rigging for over 10 years. Mr. Wilson was a member of Local 474, International Union of Operating Engineers and loved to restore old cars. He was a NASCAR fan and especially loved the Elliot family. Above all else, he loved his family and the fish fries and oyster roasts that would bring them all together. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by two brothers, Pete Wilson and Joe Wilson.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jane Kirby Wilson of Savannah; one son, Michael Wilson of Pembroke; one daughter, Michelle Frazier and her companion, Tony Williams of Stilson; one brother, Earl Wilson of Garden City; two sisters, Faye Cobb of Faulkville and Sue Smith of Ellabell; two grandchildren, Justin Bradley Frazier and his wife, Devony and Memphis Brooks Wilson and two great grandchildren, Kennedy Frazier and Remi Frazier.
Visitation will be held 6- 8 P.M. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Friday, January 27, 2023 at Northside Cemetery with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating.
