Helen Bazemore

Savannah-Helen Hutcheson Bazemore, age 85, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Bryan County Health and Rehab. Mrs. Bazemore was born in Mt. Vernon, GA to the late David Lamb Hutcheson and Minnie Lee Meeks Hutcheson. Mrs. Bazemore was retired as a branch manager for General Electric in Greensboro and later of the Atlanta branch. She was an avid reader, loved the beach and was a member of South Gardens Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, 

Mrs. Bazemore was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Robert Everett Bazemore; five brother, James, Hubert, Quinton, David and Donnie and three sisters, Myrtis, Doris and Louise.

Survivors include her two sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and Rade Tallent of Cumming, GA and Bonnie and Tom Zahos of Elijay; eight nieces, La Trece, Nicole, Patty, Renee, Sonia, Terri, T’Lene and Vickie; nephew, Danny; stepdaughter, Allyson and stepson, Robert, Jr. 

Visitation will be held Noon – 2 P.M. Friday, November 8, 2024 at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Friday, November 8, 2024 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery.
