Mrs. Hazel Davis Harvey, 91, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. Mrs. Harvey was born on May 15, 1925 in Statesboro to the late Wiley J. and Eva Anderson Davis. She was employed by Cracker Barrel as a hostess, was a manager of Family Dollar and Time Saver and a member of Westside Christian Church in Bloomingdale. Mrs. Harvey cherished her children, loved her grandchildren enjoyed attending their ballgames.
She is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Kristie Cowart and Matt Harvey.
Survivors include two sons, Julian C. Harvey of Pembroke and Steve Harvey and his wife Joan of Daisy; two daughters, Carla Williams and her husband Dennis of Ellabell and Donna Riggs of Pembroke; seven grandchildren, Janet Scott, John Harvey, Ashley Harvey, Tommy Leggett, Tony Leggett, Gincy Romano and Caleb Riggs and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
