Ellabell- Harmon J. Jones, Jr. age 63 passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Mr. Jones was a life-long resident of Ellabell and retired with over 36 years of service as maintenance supervisor for the Imperial Sugar Refinery in Savannah. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, especially his sunflowers and attended Olive Branch Baptist Church. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his son, Brad Jones and sister, Juliette Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Janice Jones, son Brian Jones, daughter Jennifer Jones, and sister Martha Drawdy, all of Ellabell and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6-9 P.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Olive Branch Baptist Church with interment to follow in Northside Cemetery. Flandersmorrisonfuneralhome.com
