Grover Chester, Jr., age 62 of Stone Mountain, GA, died early Sunday morning on July 16 2017, at Mesun Hospice, in Lawrenceville, GA. Grover graduated high school in Chattanooga, TN, and attended college at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He worked for then Southern Railroad as a locomotive engineer. He was an avid reader and a student of history especially WWII and Aviation. Grover’s intellect and advanced sense of humor made him a pleasure to be around for all, and will be badly missed. Grover also enjoyed buying and selling automobiles his whole life.
Grover is survived by his two brothers, Jon and Chris, and their families, and many adoring cousins & family members.
Visitation will be 11 am-Noon on Friday, July 21, 2017. Funeral services will be held at noon in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with interment to follow in Lower Black Creek Cemetery next to his parents and many other family members. Flandersmorrisonfuneralhome.com
