Gregory Barnwell

Mr. Gregory Lee Barnwell, age 67, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Watauga Medical Center in Boone, NC. Mr. Barnwell was born on July 15, 1955 to the late Rayford Waldstein and Esma Lois Jenkins Barnwell in Washington State. He was a member of First Baptist Church Pembroke and enjoyed farming, horses and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Mr. Barnwell retired after 19 years of service with D&B Conveyor Systems, Inc and was currently the owner and operator of Triple B Ranch.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Ray Barnwell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Elaine Barnwell; four children, Gregory Barnwell and his wife Courtney of Rincon, Heidi Barnwell of Bulloch County, Matt Barnwell of Bulloch County and Travis Barnwell and his wife Megan of Bulloch County and nine grandchildren, Caden, Easton, Waylon, Adeline, Mason, Denise, Emmett, Colton and Wesson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Pembroke.

Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Brother Tommy Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery.
