Grace Conder

Grace Maupin Conder, age 82 passed away Thursday, August 02, 2018 at her home after an extended illness.  Mrs. Conder was born July 28, 1936 to the late Thomas H. and Harriet Maupin.  She was a teacher at High Hope, a substitute teacher at Southeast Bulloch Middle School and worked at the College Pharmacy.  Mrs. Conder was a very active long-time member of Nevils United Methodist Church where she was involve in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, the food bank, Backpack Buddies and so much more.  She enjoyed making arts and crafts but most important was her time with family.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Conder was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Henry Joe Conder, Sr.; and two sons, Henry Joe Conder, Jr. and Thomas Hart Conder.

Survivors include her sons and a daughter-in-law, Wylie Conder of Florence, SC and Forrest and Cheryl Conder of Register; daughters and a son-in-law, Mary E. and John Gilbert of Rochester, NY and Margaret Davis of Carrolton, GA; seven grandchildren, Shaun Gilbert, Crystal Price, Rebecca Gilbert, Jeffrey Gilbert, Sara Williams, Brandon Conder, Brennan Arnsdorff, and Heather Thompson and nine great grandchildren, Antonio Fabian Torres, Aliyah Torres, Annabelle Gilbert, Payton Price, Chloe Price, Emma Williams, Kelly Williams, Noah Williams , Ashton Williams, Farrah Blu and Brantley Kay.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-8 P.M. Saturday, August 4, 2018.

A graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, August 4, 2018 at Nevils United Methodist Church Cemetery.
