Mrs. Glenda Gayle O’Steen, 67, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Mrs. O’Steen was born on April 23, 1949 to the late James and Irene Cooper Armstrong in Union City, TN. She worked as a correctional officer for Hamilton Correctional Institution and enjoyed crafts of all kinds, driving race cars and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur O’Steen and brother, James Armstrong.
Survivors include one son, Jerry “Sonny” Lee O’Steen of Fairhope, AL; daughter, Terry Lynn Southwell of Savannah; two sisters, Fay Ezell of Atlanta and Gay Holdren of Fairhope, AL; two grandchildren, Robert Cameron Southwell and his wife Graille of Midway and Damien Southwell and his wife Jen of Hinesville and three nieces, Donna Ezell of Atlanta, Dinah Stuart of Pensacola, FL and Sindy Coll and her husband Richard of Fairhope, AL.
Funeral services will be private.
