Mr. Glen Robert Judd, 89, passed away early Friday morning, July 10, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mr. Judd served the U.S. Navy in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater during WWII. Later he worked for Sperry Vickers Hydraulic Supply, Inc. for 31 years as a machine operator; was also a member of Beulah Baptist Church and enjoyed wood work.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Cora White Judd, five brothers, Dalton, Desmond, Dean, Clifford and Rex Judd and one sister Edna Brewer.
Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Delores Thompson Judd; sons, Robert Judd and his wife Marie and Charles Judd and his wife Marilyn all of Missouri; stepdaughter and her husband Sandra and Danny Burke of Pembroke, stepson and his wife Michael and Sharon Carrick of Columbus, one brother, Ralph Judd and his wife Wilma of West Virginia; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, six step great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 -11 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Beulah Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Bryant officiating. A committal service will be held at 1 P.M. Tuesday at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA.
