Gerald David Provost, Sr.

Ellabell- Gerald David Provost, Sr. age 90, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at St. Josephs Hospital. Mr. Provost was born in Rochester, NY to the late Ross and Nora Whol Provost. He served in the United States Air Force in North Africa during the Korean War. After his military service, he was a commercial truck driver for many years. He loved keeping up his yards and kept up the grounds at his church for as long as his health would allow. In addition to his parents, Mr. Provost was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Myrtle Lowery Provost.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Provost, Jr and his wife, Tina Marie Provost of Brooklet and Gary and Lori Provost of Black Creek; two daughters, Tina Louise Provost of Tuscaloosa, AL and Terry Sims of Black Creek; six grandchildren and many other family members. 

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
