George Lanier

Ellabell- George Lanier, age 68, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 Memorial Medical Center.  Mr. Lanier was born in Savannah, GA to the late Vernon Lanier and Peggy Jo Coleman Lanier.  He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a house painter.  George enjoyed riding motorcycles and karaoke.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his uncle and second father, Eugene Albin and cousin, Peggy Smith.

Survivor include his stepmother, Grace Lanier of Ellabell; sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Brian Childs of Guyton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Jami Landers of Allen, TX and Tony and Amanda Landers of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Hayley Renae Knoff, Nathan Knoff and their father, Brian Knoff; special aunt and second mother, Sue Albin; cousins, James and Mary Saxon of Aiken, SC, Jean Laughlin, Emma Stevens, Ronnie Tippins, and Wanda Butler, all of Vero Beach, FL, Jimbo Coleman and Jerry and Joy Coleman of Moultrie, Blaine Albin, Philip Albin, Greg Albin, Dwight Albin, Corlis Lewis and Lisa Marcello; several nieces and nephews; special friends, James Stieder, Kim Norris, Suki Rankin and all the friends at Twilight Bar and Grill.
