Mrs. Eubie Driggers Cook, 55, passed away peacefully at her home on August 23, 2016. She currently worked at Sheppard’s Lumber Company and had been employed with the company for over 30 years. Eubie enjoyed every bit of the great outdoors. She and Kenny loved visiting the mountains on their vacations. Her true joy came from her precious granddaughter Chloe.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother who raised her, Beulah Aldrich and grandparents, Delbert and Sallie Wilkes.
She is survived by a devoted husband, Kenny Cook; a loving daughter, Brandi Edenfield of Leefield; and the light of her life, her granddaughter, Chloe Edenfield of Leefield; father, Billy “Buck” Driggers of Eden and mother Ruby Charles McDonald of Pembroke; mother-in-law, Shirley Roberts of Bulloch; two sisters, Teresa Moran and her husband Andy of Eden and Marie Glisson of Statesboro; four brothers, Johnny Muns and his wife Paulette of Pembroke, Joe Driggers and his wife Denise of Pembroke, Billy Driggers and his wife Catherine of Savannah and Billy Driggers, Jr. of Eden and his wife Elaine of Eden and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 10 -11 a.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Graveside service will follow the visitation at Bulloch Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating.
