Pembroke- Emma Christine Crosby age 73 died Tuesday morning at her home. Mrs. Crosby was a long-time resident of Pembroke and homemaker. She was a collector of angels, an excellent cook and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, John Edward Crosby, grandsons Jerome Yarbrough and Romeo Crosby and great grandson Smith
Survivors include two sons John Terrance Crosby of Savannah and William Edmond and Belinda Crosby of Pembroke; five daughters Eula E. "Susie" and Grady White, Jr. of Bloomingdale, Maureen Evelyn Thompson of Pembroke, Emelia and Mike Mallon of Pembroke, Marie J. Swain of Pembroke and Tammie Hester of Ellabell; three sisters Mary Julia Keller of Ocala, Ruby NeSmith of Port Wentworth and Evelyn Flanagan of Tampa; 18 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 6-9 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 1 P.M. Friday in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with interment to follow in Hillcrest West. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
