Ellen Snowden

Mrs. Ellen Ann Snowden, age 78, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Mrs. Snowden was born on February 23, 1943 to the late David James Twomey, Jr. and Helen Mary O’Grady Twomey in Rye, New York. She was self-employed as a caregiver, she enjoyed tutoring English when she lived in New Jersey but most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a devout catholic and would do anything for anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David James Twomey, Jr. and Helen Mary O’Grady Twomey and son, Matthew A. Johnson.

Survivors include her two sons, Stephen C. Johnson, Sr. and his wife Carol of Stilson and Jeffrey M. Johnson of Fort Bragg, NC; daughter, Billie Trahan of San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren, Josh Johnson, Miranda Johnson, Shelbi Johnson, Brandi Johnson, Stephen C. Johnson, Jr., Tommy Trahan and Sean Trahan; great grandson, Taevon Brocks and a close special cousin, Maureen O’Grady Ednie.
