Elizabeth Crosby Blitch Rahn

Pembroke- Elizabeth Crosby Blitch Rahn, age 93 passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024.  Mrs. Rahn was born in Thomasville, GA to the late Dolphus Crosby and Carrie Emerich Crosby.   Mrs. Rahn was a homemaker and a seamstress.  She was a member of the garden club, loved taking care of her flowers and was a member of Powers Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rahn was preceded in death by her husbands, David Blitch and Robbie Rahn, one son, David Blitch, three sisters, Evelyn Wallis, Ethel Fetzer and Katherine Ennis and one granddaughter, Becky Blitch.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Jo Newman of Blitchton and Beth and Mike Brown of Brooklet; one daughter-in-law, Nancy Blitch of Mineral Bluff, GA; one sister, Alice Garner of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Jerry Crosby of Bloomingdale, four grandchildren, Connie Webb, Jody Newman, Carrie Green and Kyle Blitch; six great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 10-11 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2024 at the funeral home. 

Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2024 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Bryant officiating. 

Interment will follow in Beulah Baptist Cemetery
