Pembroke-Mrs. Earline Shuman Geiger age 78 passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Geiger was a lifetime resident of Pembroke, a member of Beulah Baptist Church for 65 years, and a homemaker. She loved to study geneology, reading, and gardening. She is predeceased by her husband of 43 years Nolan C. Geiger, and parents Earl and Emma Clanton Shuman, sisters Jewell Vincen and Faye Elizabeth Shuman, and son-in-law Wayne Knight.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Melvin and Gail Shuman of Pembroke, and Keith and Penny Geiger of Lillian, AL, daughters and sons-in-law Cindy Knight of Stilson, Emily and Glen McDaniel, and Lisa Geiger all of Pembroke, brothers and sisters-in-law Seward and May Shuman of Ocala, FL, and Ralph and Fay Shuman of Pembroke, sister Peggy Bath of Stilson and brother-in-law Jim Vincen; grandchildren Ricky and Tara Knight of Stilson and Charlie and Shae McDaniel of Pembroke, Chris and Ann Geiger of Mobile, AL, Jeffrey McDaniel of Birmingham AL, Staci and Bobby Jagae of Lillian AL, and Megan and Adam Hart of Pembroke, six great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation is 6-9 P.M. Friday June 6, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 A.M Saturday June 7, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home with Glen McDaniel and Reverend Clint Sullens officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Baptist Cemetery.
