Pembroke- Mrs. Donna “Dee” Rae Cornell, age 69, passed away Saturday morning, April 8, 2017. Mrs. Cornell was a long-time resident of Reidsville before moving to Pembroke just a year ago. She was a retired practical nurse, loved to read, but most of all, she loved time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Cornell was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Lee and Dorothy Lorraine Johnson.
Survivors include her daughter, Renada L. Morris of Savannah; brothers John Lee Johnson of Savannah and Rod Lee Johnson of West Virginia; sisters Dottie Lou Stallard of Texas, Debbie Sue Connors of Blitchton and Lorrie Ann Kelly; grandchildren Ashley Hall and Cory Morris, both of Savannah and great granddaughters Arionna Roberson and C’Naya Alls.
