Mrs. Dollie Ophelia Walls Crosby, 62, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017. Mrs. Crosby was born in Savannah to Lonnie Preston and Martha Levenia Lynn Walls on July 15, 1955. She worked at Zaxby’s in Pooler for six years, enjoyed watching Joel Osteen every Sunday morning, was an excellent cook, caregiver of the family and one of a kind.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Alford Crosby.
Survivors include four sons, Bobby Wayne Behel and his wife Cindy, Larry Wayne Behel and his wife Tina all of Alabama, Joe Frank Huggins and Michael Crosby and his wife Donita all of Ellabell; six daughters, Aimy Lynn Myers and her husband Eddie, Debra Kaye Miller and her husband Roger all of Ellabell, Joann Gaddy, Theresa Masters all of Savannah, Michelle Jolly and her husband Michael, Candice Williams and her wife Gabrielle all of Alabama; three brothers, Eddie Walls of Reidsville, Freddie Walls of Cobbtown and Tinnie Walls of Ellabell; sister, Felice Tyre of Savannah; 39 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 4 -7 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 3 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery.
