Ellabell- Dicy Toler Edenfield, age 80, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 after an extended illness. Mrs. Edenfield was a long-time resident of Ellabell and a member of First Baptist Church of Pembroke. She was an insurance agent, having represented Oxidental Life and United Family Life Insurance companies for many years. Mrs. Edenfield was a faithful, dedicated and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, H.D. “Dick” Edenfield and two grandsons, Joshua Alverson and Erik Edenfield.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Mike Edenfield of Pembroke and Steve and Karen Edenfield of Savannah; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy and Mark Alverson of Roswell and Debra Wyatt of Canton; two sister, Myra Fagler of Augusta and Diane Peebles of Soperton; two granddaughters, Brandi and Sarah Edenfield; one great granddaughter, Chloe and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held 11- 12:30 Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 12:30 Tuesday in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bryan County Senior Citizens Center, 24 W.
