Mr. Dewey Lance Kysar, age 37, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Mr. Kysar was born in Hammond, LA on August 22, 1986 to Dewey W. Kysar and Cyndi Breeland. He was an owner and operator with Allegiant Intermodal for 18 years and enjoyed watching football, playing video games, history and listening to fantasy novels on audio books.
He was preceded in death by two paternal grandparents, Vernon Kysar and Elizabeth Kysar and maternal grandfather, Presten Breeland.
Survivors include his loving wife of seven years, Jessie Kysar; father, Dewey W. Kysar of Clyo; mother, Cyndi Breeland of Pembroke; mother-in-love, Nita McLaughlin of Pembroke; brother, Brandon Kysar of Clyo; two sisters, Laci Burnsed and her husband David of Pembroke and Breeanna Bell and her husband Justin of Pembroke; five nieces, Emaleigh Irwin, Alyssa Burnsed, Kara Burnsed, Bridget Burnsed and Brittany Hagar; two nephews, Tyler Burnsed and Ethan Bell; one great nephew, Grayson Smith and two special family friends, Monica Sieber and Terrence Potts.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
Memorial service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Daniel Mullady of the Center for Digestive and Liver Health in Savannah and Suncoast Hospice.
