Deloris Carrick Judd

Mrs. Deloris Carrick Judd, 85, passed away at Hospice of Savannah on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Mrs. Judd was born in Bloomingdale to the late James Thompson and Sadie Gupton Thompson on November 12, 1939. She worked as a licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years and was a longtime member of Beulah Baptist Church. Mrs. Judd enjoyed crafts, cooking, she was known for her gracious southern hospitality and loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Leroy Carrick; second husband, Glen Judd; six brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Burke and her husband Danny of Pembroke; son, Michael Carrick and his wife Sharon of McCormick, SC; three grandchildren, Daniel Brent Burke and his wife Hailey, Brandi Burke Edwards and her husband Richie and Ryan Carrick and his wife Jenna and nine great grandchildren, Kathlyn Burke Upchurch and her husband Travis, Tristen Burke, Gatlin Burke, Alyssa Edwards Wilson and her wife Shannon, Austin Edwards, Caleb Carrick, Carly Carrick, Mercer Carrick and Mac Carrick.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating.

Burial will be held at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
