Mrs. Debra Faye Purvis Hightower, 59, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Mrs. Hightower was born in Cambridge, England on December 24, 1957 to Ardie H. and Doris Horne Purvis. Mrs. Hightower was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and aunt. She worked for Savannah Morning News and Physician Answering Service as an operator for numerous years. Mrs. Hightower enjoyed playing online computer games, especially Candy Crush, loved to make people laugh, would be a mother to those in need and loved everyone.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Michael Hightower and mother, Doris Horne Purvis.
Survivors include her daughter, Danielle M. Hightower of Ellabell; father, Ardie Purvis; brother, Gary Purvis and his wife Eleanor of Wilmington Island; three nieces, Marie Purvis Hartshorn, Carrie Purvis and Theresa Purvis; two nephews, Hank and John Williamson; one great niece, Marin Hartshorn; one great nephew, Aidric Hartshorn; brother-in-law, Bill Hightower of Guyton and sister-in-law, Angie Williamson and her husband Ronnie of Rincon.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 2 – 4 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be private.
