Mrs. Debra Ann Dixon, 56, passed away February 2, 2018. Born on August 22, 1961, Debra, or “Aunt Debbie”, as she was known by everyone, was a selfless lady and the ultimate caregiver. She was a member of Holy Church of God @ Black Creek, the manager of the Bill’s Dollar Store in Pembroke for many years and she was always friendly and willing to help anyone in need. Children and animals adored her, and her heart was always ready to love on both. She enjoyed scrapbooking and cooking, and her deviled eggs were the best around. She was a role model and friend to many in our community. She will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Williams and Helen Zipperer and her step-sister, Angelina Zipperer.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Dixon, her brothers, Jack Williams and Ronnie Williams (Sarah Williams), her step-sister, Loretta Tant (JW), step-brother, Jimmy Zipperer (Janet), and her step-father, Alfred Zipperer. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
