Danny "Jeep" Cobb

Mr. Danny “Jeep” Cobb, age 64, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 18, 2022. Mr. Cobb was born in Effingham to the late Nathan and Johnnie Fort Cobb on April 11, 1958. He worked in the construction industry and was a roofing specialist, loved the Tennessee mountains, eagle, enjoyed camping and was a avid fisherman fishing the Ogeechee River.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Johnnie Fort Cobb; two brothers, Jerry Cobb and Buddy Cobb and two sisters, Brenda Gail Arnsdorff and Sue Simmons.

Survivors include two sons, Brian Richardson and Billy Shuman; companion of 22 years, Wanda Price; two brothers, Kenny Cobb of Pembroke and Larry Cobb and his wife Cheryl of Springfield; sister, JoAnn Schroader of Hinesville; 5 grandchildren, Savannah Richardson, Braylin Richardson, Addaleigh Richardson, Logan Shuman and Peyton Shuman numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Graveside service will follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Stan Tyon Officiating.
