Mr. Danny Wayne Sarver, Sr., age 61, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at East Georgia Regional Hospital. Mr. Sarver was born in Jacksonville, FL on September 13, 1961 to Everett and Thelma Hodge Sarver. He was currently employed as a paper courier for Savannah Morning News for 4 years and formerly worked as a millwright with the Local Union #256 for 10 years. Mr. Sarver attended Chevis Oaks Baptist Church and he enjoyed bowling, drag racing but most important to him, was spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Everett Sarver.
Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Kimberly Sarver; two children, D.J. Sarver and his fiancé, Kendell Thomas of Richmond Hill and Kayla Clark and her husband Charlie of Richmond Hill; mother, Thelma Hodge Sarver; two brothers, Everett G. Sarver and his wife Penny of Brunswick and Ricky Sarver and his wife Michelle of Effingham; sister, Pamela Sarver of Pembroke; three grandchildren, Randy Wayne Clark, Wyatt Allen Clark and Brantley Everett Clark and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joshua Shuman officiating.
Burial will be at Northside Cemetery.
