Dannell Purvis Branson, age 57, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017. Mrs. Branson was born in Statesboro, GA to the late Dan and Mary Nell Powell Purvis on May 3, 1960. She was a resident of Cobbtown but had lived in Ellabell for most of her life. Mrs. Branson was a homemaker and loved animals, especially her dogs. She also enjoyed feeding her birds and taking care of her flowers.
Mrs. Branson was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael Purvis.
Survivors include her husband of over 37 years, Roy E. Branson of Cobbtown; son, Robert Branson of Cobbtown; daughters and son-in-law, Rachel and T.J. Miles of Ellabell and Christina Branson of Lyons; brothers, Danny Purvis of Ellabell, Randy Purvis of Groveland and Tommy Purvis of Ellabell; sisters, Barbara Faye Sanders of Pembroke, Judy Bacon of Pembroke, Lisa Purvis of Ellabell and Pat Walls of Cobbtown and five grandchildren, Kristian Miles, Tristian and Dakota Branson and Kaleb and RayLee Colbert.
Visitation will be held 6-9 P.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be 11 A.M. Thursday, June 29 at Lower Black Creek with Pastor Stanley Tyson.
