Mr. Daniel “Danny Pops” Floyd Jarrell, 67, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Mr. Jarrell was born to the late James Floyd Jarrell and Wilma Barrow Jarrell in Lyons, GA on December 24, 1948. He served in the U.S. Army, later was a truck driver for Guerry Lumber Company and Savannah Toyota. Mr. Jarrell was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church in Collins, GA, was an avid fisherman, enjoyed using his CB Radio in which his handle was “Falcon”, spending time at the Waffle House near the airport and feeding squirrels and birds.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Doris Kramer Jarrell; son, Jason C. Jarrell (Misty) of Blitchton; four daughters, Laurie Jarrell, Kaye Jarrell of FL, Patti Prudent of Ellabell and Virginia “Jenny” Prudent of Ellabell; two brothers, Jimmy Jarrell (Shirley) of Blitchton and Benny Jarrell (Angie) of Register; two sisters, Jackie Ienn (Ron) of NB and Diane Sherman (Carl) of Blitchton; 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Little Flock Baptist Church in Collins, GA with Reverend Tim Traywick officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
