Mrs. Dale Gay Webster, 66, passed away at Hospice of Savannah on Monday evening. Mrs. Webster was born on March 15, 1949 to the late Perry and Jean Futch Gay in Savannah. She worked as a cartographer for over 20 years of service with Bryan County Tax Assessors Office, was member of Pembroke Christian Church, the Red Hat Society, was a people person, enjoyed shopping and dining out.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jimmie Leslie Webster; daughter, Rhonda Fortner and her husband Craig of Ellabell; step-daughter, Carmen Barfield of Brunswick; one grandson and the light of her life, Austin Fortner; granddaughter, Charlie Barfield; two sisters, Perry Lee Badgley of Michigan and Gail Hodge and her husband Howard of Pembroke; nieces and nephews Becky Crowe and her husband Mark and Jason Hodge; great nieces and nephews Arien Hodge, Caitlin Young and her husband Cliff and Cody Crowe and his fiancé Sierra Newman; great-great niece, Chloe Young and great-great nephew, Clay Young.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 from 10 – 12 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Savannah.
