Blitchton
Mr. Corbin Elton Rowe, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at his residence in Blitchton, Georgia. The native and lifelong resident of Bryan County was retired from Union Camp-Meldrim. He was preceded in death by his father, Elton Rowe, his mother, Thelma Blair Rowe and his brother, David Rowe.
Corbin was an avid hunter and fisherman and had an affinity for the Ogeechee River and living off the land. He had a personality and heart bigger than life with a love for people; he never met a stranger and always had a willingness to help anyone. Above all, he loved his family and friends and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters, Kandi (Alan) Griffin of Savannah and Misti (David) Tolbert of Pembroke; son, David of Savannah and the mother of his children, Kathy Floyd Rowe of Bryan County; four grandchildren Devin Griffin and Matthew, Ashton and Harley Gregory; two sisters, Ophelia Braswell of Stilson and Janice (Mark) Holcombe of Rincon and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Doctor Lawrence Butler officiating.
Burial will be in the Eldora Cemetery.
