Cora Alice Frum Hamner

Pooler- Cora Alice Frum Hamner, age 83, passed away Sunday November 5, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center. Mrs. Hamner was born in Elkins, WV to the late Therman Frum and Lelia Bennett Frum.  She was an excellent seamstress and made many of her children’s clothes during their childhood.  Mrs. Hamner also made clothes and donated them to people in need in the Savannah hospitals.  She loved quilting and taking care of her two cats, George and Taz.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hamner was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Frum.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Evan “Butch” Hamner of Pooler; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Garry Hendricks of Guyton, Kathy Clark of Pooler and Mary and Adam Brannen of Pooler; one son, David Hamner of Savannah; one brother, Dale Frum of TX and three grandchildren, Brittany Hendricks, Richie Clark and Richelle Clark.

A graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Monday, November 13, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Ellabell Cemetery with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating.
