Mr. Claude Virgil Davis, III, 45, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by his family on Thursday, June 20, 2019. Mr. Davis was born in Warner Robins, Georgia on November 28, 1973 to the late Claude Virgil Davis, Jr. and Ommie Louise Cox Davis. He was a member of Pooler Church, enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, loved being with his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Davis worked for over 30 years installing garage doors. He and his wife, Michele started their own business, Innovated Overhead Door, where they worked together hand-in-hand for over 3 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude Virgil Davis, Jr. and Ommie Louise Cox.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Michele Cherie Davis; son, Michael Anthony Davis of Guyton, two daughters, Lauren Davis Myers and her husband Ronald of Savannah and Claudia Davis and fiancé Nathaniel Vaughn of Rincon; four brothers, Timothy Davis and Liz Lindsey of Byron, Kenneth Davis and his wife Brenda of Rossville, Terrell Davis and Glenn Davis both of Chattanooga; two sisters, Theresa Wade of Warner Robins and Sharon Kennedy and her husband Randy of Macon; six grandchildren, Adalyn Mae Myers, Evalyn Cherie Vaughn, Aiden James Myers, Elizabeth Marie Vaughn, Ardyn Michele Myers and Evander Malique Vaughn and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Pooler Church with Pastor Vic Polero officiating.
