Christopher Shaun Howell

Mr. Christopher Shaun Howell, age 45, passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 10, 2022. He was born on July 16, 1977 in Marietta, GA to Joe C. and Patsy Couch Howell. Mr. Howell served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps having served in Operation Iraqi Freedom IV. He was currently employed with Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation for 7 years as an Avionics Electrical Tech Lead and previously employed by Hunter Army Airfield as an Avionics Technician for 8 years and was very tech savvy.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe C. Howell, Sr.; grandmother, Betty Alexander Howell and uncle Robert Keith Howell.

Survivors include his loving wife of 11 years, Jenny Howell; two sons, Justin Hammond of Ellabell and Mason McCullough of Effingham; three daughters, Piper Howell of Ellabell, Jessica Hammond of Statesboro and Madison McCullough of Effingham; parents, Joe C. and Patsy Couch Howell; sister, Shauna New of Ellabell; two grandchildren, Damien Jr. Tippett and Ryver Tippett both of Effingham and numerous other family members.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Beulah Baptist Church with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating.

Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery.
