Ms. Christina Marie Futch, 37, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. Ms. Futch was born in Savannah, GA on November 23, 1978 to Alvin D. Futch and Gwendolyn Wolfe Futch. She was a 1997 Honor Graduate of Bryan County High School, received her Bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University in 2002, and received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from South University College of Pharmacy in 2006 where she was a charter member and past president of the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Delta Omega Chapter. Ms. Futch was a pharmacist with Bedingfield Pharmacy and a member of the First Baptist Church of Pembroke. She enjoyed traveling, loved her dogs and most importantly, loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Futch.
Survivors include her parents, Alvin D. and Gwen Futch of Pembroke, companion, Misty D. Walker of Brooklet, brother, William Anthony Futch and his wife Chelsie of Pembroke; three sisters, Teresa Smith and her husband Wyman, Angela Hughes and Tracie Sullivan and her husband Jim, all of Pembroke and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 5 -8 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Pembroke with Reverend Dan Bryant and Doctor Brad Butler officiating.
Burial will follow in the Northside Cemetery.
