Mr. Charles Alan Cooler, Sr., 55, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2016 at Hospice of Savannah. Mr. Cooler, Sr. was born in Savannah to Charles Wesley Cooler and Roma Jeannette Brown on March 13, 1961. He was self employed as an HVAC Technician and roofing work; he enjoyed fishing, watching football, farming, working on classic trucks, country life, rest and relaxation and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his mother, Roma Jeannette Brown and her husband Robert of Ellabell; girlfriend of 11 years, Patricia Wiggins of Ellabell; son, Charles Alan “Bubba” Cooler, II and his girlfriend Joy Love of Ellabell; daughter, Clarissa Nicole Nelson and her husband A.J. of Ellabell; two brothers, James David Cooler of Savannah and Nelson Bennette Smith, Jr. and his wife Robin of Guyton, two sisters, Lisa Marie Smith and her husband Joe of Summerville, SC and Little Jeannette Smith of Savannah; three grandchildren, Allyson and A.R. Nelson and Jacob Cooler; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale with Reverend Archie Seabrook officiating
