Carter Caine, Jr.

Guyton- Carter Rule Caine, Jr. age 67, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at his home.  Mr. Caine was born in Charleston, SC on July 24, 1953 to the late Carter Rule Caine, Sr. and Elizabeth Smoak Caine.  He was a long-time resident of Guyton and was currently serving as vice president of Rawls Vending Company where he has worked for over 50 years.  Mr. Caine enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening and attended Emmanuel Community Church .  He enjoyed riding Indian motorcycles, flew RC planes and especially enjoyed his 1:8 scale train.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Kathy C. Caine of Guyton; one son, Carter Rule Caine, III and his wife Felicia Caine of Springfield; three daughters, Candy Caine of Pembroke; Taffy Taylor and John Ball of Guyton and Dixie Krystal Caine of Henderson, TX; two brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Tina Caine of Guyton and Myles and Cindy Caine of Hollywood, SC; four grandchildren, Austin Caine of Guyton, Aden Nichols of Henderson, TX, Harleigh Caine of Clyo and Ashden Nichols of Henderson, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on 11 A.M. Saturday, January 9, 2021 in Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mitch Lynn officiating.  Interment will follow in Lawrence Cemetery.
