Savannah- Carrie Lee Jackson Stewart, age 82 passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Mrs. Stewart was a long-time resident of Savannah and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Mary Ann Myers.
Survivors include her sons, Elijah Stewart of Lanier and Larry Stewart of Quitman; daughters Glory Dean McBride of North Carolina, Joan Boyd of Hinesville and Mary Jane Stewart; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 5-7 P.M. Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Mrs. Stewart’s grandson, Apostle Willie F. Jackson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery.
