Carole Faircloth

Ellabell- Carole Helen Cole Faircloth, age 86 passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.  Mrs. Faircloth was born in Savannah on August 6,1934 to the late Calvin Hardie Cole, Sr. and Anna Mae Davis Cole.  She was a long-time resident of Ellabell and retired as a paraprofessional with over 20 years of service with Lanier Primary School and other schools in North Bryan County.  Mrs. Faircloth was a member of North Thompson Baptist Church and dearly loved attending her church.  She was an excellent cook, a good seamstress and enjoyed crocheting.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Faircloth was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Felix Faircloth, Sr; one daughter, Linda Carol Gruenewald; two brothers, Calvin H. Cole, Jr. and Larry E. Cole and one great grandson, Jeremy Logan Cole

Survivors include her sons and a daughter-in-law, Leon Felix Faircloth, Jr. of Taylor, SC ; Luther Hardie and Darlene Waters of Lincolnton, GA and Gregory Leon Faircloth of Colorado; three daughters and a son-in-law; Patricia Cole of Ellabell, Anna Marie and David Theriot of Hot Springs Village, AR, and Louise Blake of Ellabell; two brothers, Terry Wendall Cole of Bloomingdale and Mark Anthony Cole of Guyton; one sister, Nina Jean Turner of Pembroke; 21 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6-8 P.M. Friday, July 23, 2021 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, July 24, 2021 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Phillips officiating.

Interment will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday, July 24, 2021 in North Thompson Baptist Church Cemetery.
