Carol Cherry

Mrs. Carol Bernice Cherry, 71, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Mrs. Cherry was born in Savannah to the late Otis and Ida Mae Fuller Bennett on October 13, 1949. She loved to cook, the ocean, swimming and especially taking care of her granddaughter. She was loved by all who knew her and was very sociable during her working years as a bartender at The DeSoto Hilton of Savannah.

Survivors include her son, William Corbin Cherry of Ellabell; brother, Wayne Bennett and his wife Cindy of Bulloch County and her two close sisters, Elizabeth Zimostrad and her husband Ken of Hendersonville, NC and Geri Frazer of Ellabell and graddaughter, Bailey Cherry of Ellabell.
