Brenda Perkins

Ellabell-  Brenda Jo Jackson Perkins, age 59, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.  Mrs. Perkins was born October 18, 1961 in Rock Hill, SC.  She had lived in Ellabell for over 38 years and was a homemaker.  Mrs. Perkins enjoyed working in her yard and tending her flowers.  She was very talented at crafts, enjoyed shopping and had a wonderful sense of humor.  Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Williams Carroll, James Edwin Carroll and Curtis Wayne Jackson.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, James Carol Perkins of Ellabell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nicole Perkins Green and Keith Green of Bloomingdale and Tiffany Perkins Kohler and Dylan Kohler of Ellabell; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Becky Jackson of Richmond Hill; two granddaughters, Sophia Green and Stella Jo Kohler and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6-8 P.M. Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, May 20, 2021 in the Morrison Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
