Mrs. Bivian Estell Chester died, Monday Nov. 21, 2016, three days after her 89th birthday. She
lived at her home off Ewing Chapel Road in Dacula, GA. Her husband Carmie preceded her in death 4 years ago in 2012. Bivian was married to Carmie for 62 years,her only love. After August 1950, she devoted her life to her husband and family. She raised three children, Grover, Jon and Chris. Bivian was born in Ledford, GA which is now inside Fort Stewart and was raised in the surrounding area of Black Creek. A devoted Christian, Bivian was a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church for over 30 years. She is survived by her three sons and family; Grover Chester Jon & Kristy Chester, Chris & Tara Chester, Brother Kenneth Shuman, grandchildren and great grandchildren,numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 from 10:30 - 12 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at the Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
