Arthur Joe Oliver, Sr.

Mr. Arthur Joe Oliver, Sr., age 86, passed away at his residence on Saturday, June 15, 2024. He was born in Vidalia on September 27, 1937 to the late Samuel M. Oliver and Margaret Hall Oliver. Mr. Oliver enjoyed reading, listening to music and fishing. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Arthur Joe Oliver, Jr.; daughter, Teresa Heinemann and two sisters, Barbara White and Margaret Walden.

Survivors include his daughter, Angela Henderson of Savannah; son, Samuel Clyde Oliver of Garfield; sister, Gail Womble of Lakeland, FL and eight grandchildren, Tyler McCombs, Makayla Stewart-Wise, Kaidyn Wise, Tisha McCombs, Brandon Wise, Jamie Wise, Selina Wise and Tristian Wise.

Graveside service will be private at a later date.
