Mr. Arnice Dupree Mauldin, 81, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Wednesday surrounded by his family. Mr. Mauldin was born in Ozark, AL to the late Crawford and Ethel Myers Mauldin on April 15, 1938. Mr. Mauldin served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korea War and later worked for and retired after 40 years of service as a truck driver for Georgia Pacific. He was a member of LifeSpring Worship Center, a member of the Disabled American Veterans, enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Crawford and Ethel Myers Mauldin.
Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley Powell Mauldin; sons, Johnny Mauldin of Ellabell, David Mauldin of Cobbtown and Glenn Mauldin of Daytona, FL; daughter, Peggy Davis of Rincon; brother, Freddy Palmore of Montgomery, AL; sister, Mary Mauldin of AL; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.
