April Elizabeth Brewer

Mrs. April Elizabeth Brewer, age 63, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Mrs. Brewer was born in Savannah on March 12, 1960 to William Robert Benson and Doris Pierce Benson. She was a loving and caring house wife and enjoyed shopping at thrift stores, drinking Coco-Cola and playing lottery tickets.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Michael Brewer; father, William Robert Benson and two brothers, Donald Dzienny and Gary Dzienny.

She is survived by two daughters, Wendy Gore-Berry and her husband Harold of Pembroke and Jessica Sturgess and her husband Joel of Savannah; son, Michael Benson of Savannah; mother, Doris Pierce Benson of Savannah; sister, Brenda Thompson of Savannah; 8 grandchildren, Taylor, Justin, Ashlyn, Hailey, Michael, Joel, John, Joshua and Jonah; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
