Anthony Gomez

Pembroke-  Anthony Gomez, age 46 passed away Friday, August 7, 2020 at Candler Hospital.  Mr. Gomez was a native of Ventura, CA but was a long-time resident of Pembroke.  He was a warehouse associate at Owens Supply and Storehouse Salvage.  Mr. Gomez loved his job and those he worked with.  He was a member of the catholic faith, enjoyed fishing, working in his yard and he loved his dog, Stella.

Survivors include his mother, Pauline V. Welsh of Pembroke; father, Miguel F. Gomez of Weatherford, OK; brother, Miguel Gomez of Pembroke; niece, Michelle Gomez of Pembroke and fiancé, Stephanie Scott of Pembroke.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Northside Cemetery with Rev. Jesse France officiating.

Due to COVID-19 the funeral home will limit the amount of guest at one time and ask that guest practice social distancing as well.  Face mask are not mandatory but are strongly recommended.
