Pembroke- Rita Conner Morris, age 74 passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 while under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She loved to go on long rides with her husband and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Rufus and Lillian Conner; daughter, Carole Morris; brother, Doy Conner and sister, Mary Rucker.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Bobby R. Morris of Pembroke; two daughters, Diane Morris of Register and Celina Lamont of Rincon; brothers Emmitt Hendrix of Richmond Hill, Ray Conner of Rincon and Randy Conner of Baltimore; sister, Marie Wells of Hinesville and grandchildren, Michael Roberts and Derick Martin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2016 from 6 – 7 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating.
Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery.
